This marvelous work by JCG highlights the plight of nature as humans overtake it with greed, selfishness, and lack of care.

We need to heed the warning and begin to care for this earth instead of ravage it. The wolves and Natuve Americans k ew how to manage the wilds I. Fascinating book. The narrator spoke softly, clearly, beautifully. I loved reading this book as a kid and now with audible I can still enjoy a good read without taking up all my time.

This is a clear example of a white woman idolizing native culture. It's great to try to get some representation and all, but it's really obvious that this is a white person trying to convince other white people to love more harmoniously with nature rather than an Inuit girl's experience. I like the flow of the story, breaking it into 3 parts and started the story with the conflict and then going back to explain how the story got there.

It was a book that kept me thinking and you should definitely read it. It is very nice if you go outside. Books can inspire you to do many things and this one definitely inspired me. It is one you should consider listening or just reading.

I read this book in elementary school and was excited to see it the list I'm currently working through. I have to say though I didn't really like the last paragraph of the story. Just me being sentimental I guess. The narrator did a wonderful job! This was one of my favorite books as a child, so I got it to share with my children. Great performance! I love this book, and I thought it would be a good way to delve into it by listening.
